I think there is something that happens on the test to parallel this. According to the sides for the proctor one intern goes blank and another tries to give them the answers. Personally, I think that this kind of plays into George and Izzie, but the sides end there so we don't know if both interns get into trouble or the testing irregularity gets mentioned and they check the answers to see if there is a similarity. Still, any form of "Cheating" plays into that storyline.

The sides for the Proctor have one of the interns freezing and another one trying to give them answers. Now, given Izzie and George's exchange in the promos for this week "We are independently brilliant" "The Dream Team" I could picture it being these two. Now, wouldn't it be hysterical if George and Izzie are found guilty of "cheating"? Even better - if it were the Ortho section? Get it? Cheating on the Ortho? Hee!

Yeah. But, for some reason, I think it will be Christina mirroring her doubts in getting married. I think Meredith will be the one helping her. Besides, she would be the last person suspected to freeze since she is arguably the most brilliant of all of them. It would be pure irony.

I think Cristina freezing would be overkill since she is also supposed to have trouble writing her vows. Freezing twice in one episode I don't think they would have her do. Either THAT or the intern who freezes and the ones sharing answers are different interns. The Proctor sides were deceptively short, so A LOT could go down with that exam.

I still think the idea of George and Izzie being caught cheating would be funny, and would definitely arouse Callie's suspicions.

I'm about five pictures into the promotional photos and I think it's def some combination of Meredith and Cristina freezing and helping. The pic of the interns sans Meredith makes me think Mer might freeze, although it's very likely that being an accomplice would be considered the more serious offense.

The shot of Mer and Christina IMO are before the stairs picture since Christina's hair is up in the lockers. This looks to be right before they take the test. On the stairs Christina is clearly upset and her hair is out of her ponytail. To different times of the day. Yet, at the end Mer is the one that is missing from the intern group shots.

The fact that they mentioned Callie and her study cards being legendary and Izzie saying they didn't need them, and then George chimes in that they're the dream team will play in here.

Since Christina has the infamous study cards, and her freezing up would be priceless. She has all the stuff. She has the study resources, and she is labeled as the smartest one there. Plus Meredith is not any of the intern group shot stills. She is only in the locker room which appears to be the beginning due to the lighting and hairstyle of Christina. I'm definitely going with Christina and/or Meredith which are the ones in the sides. Christina wouldn't have her hair down like that in a stress motion if it was for George and Izzie. However, for Mer she would. And Just as George/Izzie were study together. All "Desire" so was Mer and Christina. George/Izzie already have enough storyline subplots. Whereas Mer/Chris do not...JMHO.

It's possible that Cristina does freeze, but the nervous looks and all the discussions with the Chief make me think its something beyond freezing. If someone froze, no biggie. If something came down during the test, THAT would be cause for alarm.

Agreed. Or what is happening in the stills are not even Level 3 test related. Something is else could be happening to one of the attendings *shrugs*. Personally, I would rather see all the interns succeed. They deserve some happiness at least that they succeeded in something in their first year.

Of course it would be nice if they could all succeed, but if they did and it was all happy happy it wouldn't be Grey's. Just really getting uneasy about that shot of George sitting away from the other interns. Really not liking it.

You know George sitting on one side of the stairs is not uneasy to me since Izzie, George, and Chris's eyes are all looking the exact same place. Plus Meredith is no where to be scene outside of the locker room stills. Then there is the possiblity some of these stills are just funky. I mean for "Desire" we had a great shot of Izzie smiling, but I'm definitely seeing it more as Katherine Heigl outtake lol. Who knows. I'm not gunning for anyone to fail this test at all. I don't want any of them to fail the test nor cheat. Ironically Ausiello, BufddyTV, or Kristin has mentioned this info........yet.

I am going by the sides for the proctor at this point. Basically all they have is that someone freezes. The camera direction has this person looking around and someone tries to give them an answer. Very short, which is odd. Now, the fact that they have someone trying to give them an answer may be relevent.

Meredith frezing could be possible, the interns sitting on the stairs could just be waiting to see how Meredith is doing and if she will be able to go any futher. Course I still think it may be Christina, her frezing on the voes and test would really make sense, she'd see the test as her wedding voes and freze becuase of how nervous the wedding is making her AKA marrying Burke. It would be suprising to us all becuase we'd never suspected Christina once, she's Miss I must get every thing right type person, it would also add an intresting change to her character. Christina may also be the one who cheats if the sides are correct, she had the cards after all and would want to get every thing right. I'm not ruling out Christina just yet. She's with Meredith in the stills and looks very nervous about some thing.

I really can't wait to see how this pans out. Of course, something could still go down and NOT be in Testing 1-2-3. Meredith freezing would be something out there and obvious - dealt with that day. Cheating can be determined by looking at the answers given. If two people next to each other give the same wrong answers their tests can be invalidated, so we wouldn't know that until possibly the finale, so the George fails spoiler could still be true. I can't wait until the episode finally airs and we all can see how wrong we are!

For all we know those George spoilers could just be foilers for whos going to fail. Shonda wouldn't give out who's failing like that. Will just have to wait and see...

Well the first person that comes to mind for me would be George. He's unstable and insecure. But Shonda probably wants to surprise us all and make us fall out of our seats...which makes me think Cristina. It seems impossible, but as far a Shonda goes, nothing is impossible...

Yeah, Cristina freezing up would certainly be priceless, and "unexpected" (quotes because we're here speculating about it). After thinking some more, my new theory is that prior to the test, Cristina expresses to Meredith in some way that she's having issues with the wedding-- something so that Meredith knows that she's sort of down. Then, during the test, Cristina freezes and Meredith tries to bail her out, but in the process, she gets caught. I think trying to give someone answers is probably going to be considered a worse offense in this case, and my guess is that Meredith will get reamed at some point (which is why she's the missing one on the stairs).

It's just a theory, of course.

Tamika. It's about Callie, Izzie, Cristina and Mer at her house at breakfast I think. They're talking about Cristina's voes I think (sounds not so good on the PC I'm on) and complaining or something and Izzie makes a small speech about all 3 of them having it, the person they love, and that she guarantees them that if they didn't they would think about it all the time. And Callie narrows her eyes, as if to say "I know you're hiding something/I know what you're really talking about" IMO.

LoveInAnElevator and Restless Nights. I agree that if the NE is right then I'll just admit that this is not Grey's, not the one I love. And live in my DVDs from S1 to S3 ep 19 all summer. But I'm still pretty sure I would come back in September or at least for a few episodes in Sep. to see if they can come back on track (with a smaller cast and no spin-off to write). I think I'm a glutton for punishment...lol. But all shows I've loved over the years have had at leats 1 season where they screw up so...

Promo...Hate it but it does remind me of 3x06 and in the end it wasn't anything. I see that as some cheap plot to create angst.

I'm think maybe Derek talking to the girl happens when they're at Burke's bachelor party, i'm assuming Mark is there as he is in promo pictures. I'm really thinking maybe Mark sees Derek talking to the girl, then maybe goes up to Derek and says like why are you doing that to Meredith, she wouldn't do that to you even when i propositioned her. Now he's being selfless these days i think mark is and telling Derek this while being at risk to being punched in the face maybe continues with that theme?

The whole MerDer situation is just getting so disheartening and completely far fetched! I realize that life has it's ups and downs and that you need some embellishment to make good TV- but come on. How many downs can Meredith go through, I mean after finding out Derek's married, the bomb, appendicitis, almost drowning, losing her mother, now losing her dad's wife-NOW Derek is going to drop her and hop into bed with the next chick at the bar- give the girl a break. There is broken and then there is just put the girl out of her misery already. GEEZ.

And not once during the time they finally got back together, did we ever get to experience MerDer really together and happy. There was what- the bathtub scenes that lasted all of 30 seconds and those were not real happy times....then there was finding out that Mer snores and Derek sleeps on the couch. Not really happiness but rather a sign of the lack of communication in their relationship. What happened to Derek's speech telling her he had always loved her? what it faded away already? Nice way to ruin a character for the audience.

On top of the MerDer disappointments, they leave us with the George and Izzie moments that make me ill.

I am just not sure I can take much more of this. What happened to the witty dramatic but quirky show we all love????

The one of Mer at the begining is from 313 when Derek gives the 'expect me to show up speech', and the Cristina/Burke ones are when he proposes. Also, i think the shot of sad Mer is re-used. Although this could be good, as re-used stuff sometimes means there's lots of surprises! Shondra can't break up Mer/Der, she just can't!

I'm think maybe Derek talking to the girl happens when they're at Burke's bachelor party, i'm assuming Mark is there as he is in promo pictures. I'm really thinking maybe Mark sees Derek talking to the girl, then maybe goes up to Derek and says like why are you doing that to Meredith, she wouldn't do that to you even when i propositioned her. Now he's being selfless these days i think mark is and telling Derek this while being at risk to being punched in the face maybe continues with that theme?

I think it would be great if Mark stopped Derek from doing "whatever" with that girl. I would love that.

I would very much like for this to happen. 13 episode arc scares me... in fact I can't say I've been a huge fan of (m)any of the characters that have gotten the long arcs... Jane Doe, Denny, etc.

it doesn't make sense that she's a new intern - 13 episodes? Interns are gonna be there all the time. A new intern, i would think, would become a new regular cast member. Unless she gets kicked out or transfers after the 13 eps

Wasn't there a spoiler or rumor before that a psychiatrist was joining the cast? I think there was even speculation that Jane Doe, because she was getting an 8- or 10-episode arc, was going to turn out to be the psychiatrist.
Maybe McBarSlut is that psychiatrist that we heard about before?? I'm just grasping at straws to come up with a purpose for her character to have a 13-episode arc!! It can't be because her and Derek are going to hook up!

Yeah, I rewatched the episode tonight and I agree that it's a huge possibility that she's Lexie. If it is her, maybe she has the 13-episode arc next season because she's going to be an intern at Seattle Grace. I remember Molly telling Meredith that her dad was really proud of Lexie. I know she was in med school. I think it was at Harvard for some reason. I could be wrong.

On the other hand, if she is Lexie, she didn't seem the part of the distraught, grieving daughter. I'd be a huge mess if it was my mom's funeral that day. You wouldn't catch me at a bar flirting with men. She didn't even look like she had been crying.

It's so Lexie. Honestly if it's not I'll do some sort of crazy forfeit. She was wearing black, she had a hard day, there was that brief mention of her from Molly earlier in the episode. They clearly couldnt let her just be some random girl in a bar. Everything has to be as bad for Meredith as it possibly can - so Derek had to be flirting with her sister. They like to kick her when she's down.
